Imo is indeed agog today Tuesday, 24th October 2017 as the quintessential lawyer and politician, Barr. Obinna Augustus Amagwula who was sometimes ago addressed by Governor Rochas Okorocha as "My son in whom I am well pleased" commemorates his fortieth (40th) Birthday Anniversary in grand style.
The Rescue Missionary who presently occupies a position as the Deputy Director, Imo Board of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Lands, OCDA, Emblem and Legal Matters, is celebrating alongside his second son (third child) Master Ikenna Amagwula who incidentally was begotten same day with the Legal Luminary though four years ago.
Rostrum had earlier reported that the Independence born, Barr. Obinna Amagwula who is the Founder and Principal Counsel, Destiny Solicitors Owerri and doubles as the Principal Counsel A.O. Amagwula & Co. Chambers Abuja, would today - in the company of relatives, friends, fans and numerous well wishers - be visiting various Motherless Babies homes domiciled in the state in line with the schedule of the celebration.
The anniversary equally encompasses other activities such as Novelty match and what have you.
Before his current appointment by His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha as the Deputy Director of BIR, Barr. Amagwula who is the immediate past General Manager of the famous Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) had served in various political positions to include a two-time Transition Committee (TC) Chairman of the revered Oru-East Local Government Area between 2014 and 2016 and the Director of INEC Affairs, Rochas Campaign Organisation (RCO) in 2014/2015.
