Amagwula, Son Celebrate Amid Friends, Orphans, Appreciate Owelle
==================================================

It was celebration galore and presentation of countless encomiums on Tuesday, 24th October 2017 as the quintessential lawyer and politician, Barr. Obinna Augustus Amagwula and beloved son Master Ikenna Amagwula marked their 40th and 4th birthdays, respectively, amidst numerous friends, fans, relatives as well as orphans from all walks of life.

The celebrants - father and son - graciously commenced their celebration at 3 O' Clock in the afternoon from the office of the former domiciled in Jubocs Mall beside Emenike Estate, New Owerri, Owerri the capital city of Imo State where they received tremendous prayers, goodwill messages from clergies and well-wishers, respectively.

They proceeded to Holy Family Sisters of the Needy Okwu Uratta, Owerri North LGA, and then to Red Cross Motherless Babies' Home, Orlu Road, Owerri, to as usual cheer with the orphans domiciled therein.

In his words, Barr. Obinna Amagwula on behalf of his co-celebrant Master Ikenna, darling wife Nneoma Ugonna Coleth Amagwula and the entire family, disclosed that it had always been a thing of joy to celebrate his birthdays with the orphans and the less-privileged at large.

He went further to appreciate Governor Rochas Okorocha who he described as "a man and father who brought me closer to God and helped to build my spiritual life". It would be recalled that Gov. Okorocha had in 2014 addressed Barr. Obinna Amagwula when he was the TC-Chairman of Oru-East LGA, as "a son in whom I am well pleased".

Responding, Rev. Sis. Dom Cordis of the Holy Family Sisters of the Needy who immensely appreciated the celebrants for finding time to associate with the orphans, on behalf of the kids prayed that God in His infinite mercy would continue to guide and guard them alongside his numerous friends who accompanied them to the place.

Similarly, on her part, Mrs. Grace Ahaneku alongside Mrs.Regina Eze of the Red Cross Motherless Babies' Home equally prayed that Barr. Amagwula would remain blessed having expressed his unflinching love for the needy and homeless.

At about six O' Clock in the evening, the tour landed at Heroes Square axis beside Imo Youth Centre where the celebrants hosted their guests who turned out en masse in a grand style. The reception section saw the presence of men and women of all calibers including legal luminaries, politicians, technocrats, government functionaries, media professionals, businessmen, workers of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Oru East LGA, as well as men of NURTW - Oru East Chapter whom had had Barr. Amagwula as a Patron, among others too numerous to mention.

In his Vote of Thanks, the Chief Celebrant Barr. Obinna Amagwula who was obviously overwhelmed over the unequaled love showered on him by friends and fans, deeply thanked everyone present as he further asked God to continue to bless them in their various fields of endeavour.

Barr. Amagwula - a fine lawyer and humility personified - who is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Imo State Board of Internal Revenue (BIR), is the immediate past General Manager (GM) of the OCDA. In 2014, he was appointed by His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha as the Transition Committee (TC) Chairman of the revered Oru-East Local Government Area (LGA), and was returned to the same position the following year being 2015 having served as the Director of INEC Affairs, Rochas Campaign Organisation (RCO).
